Try your hand at piloting a helicopter and discover a truly exhilarating experience! Join the elite and fly a helicopter. Dragon Helicopters will provide the aircraft and the instructor, you provide the skills and the nerve! Trial lessons consist of a ground briefing followed by your choice of either half-an-hour or an hour in the aircraft. During this time you can take the controls of the helicopter yourself and even test your hand-eye co-ordination with a go at hovering! We issue a trial lesson voucher which can be given as a gift on the day of a celebration: the flight date can be pre-arranged or left open for the recipient to book later. The flights start and finish at Sheffield City Airport and are available seven days a week in daylight hours. Trial lessons are usually conducted in the Robinson R22. Other aircraft types are available on request: please contact the office for details of availability and prices. We use the Schweizer 300 for Private Pilot’s Licence instruction, so if you are thinking of undertaking your licence, we recommend that you have your trial lesson in this aircraft. • Half-hour trial lesson
