September 2010: Bob and Karolyn were privileged to attend the Royal Air Forces Association City of London Salute at St. Paul’s Cathedral and the Guildhall in London, to commemorate 70 years since the Battle of Britain and the start of the London Blitz.

December 2009: It was with great sadness that we heard of the death of our good friend Mr. Richard Todd on Thursday 3rd December. We offer our condolences to his family and friends.

On 16th May 2008 Dragon was privileged to fly Richard Todd to the Derwent Dam for the 65th Anniversary Dam Busters Memorial Service. It was a spectacular, moving and unforgettable day as the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight and Tornados from the present 617 Squadron flew over the Dam. Some of the pictures we took can be seen on the left (note: please view the site in Internet Explorer to see all the pictures.) Photos and clips are copyright Dragon Helicopters 2008.

The eventual closure of Sheffield City Airport in April 2008 has seen Dragon’s departure from the base that was instrumental in the Company’s inception in 2000.
